Hey everyone,
With a recent spark of interest, inspiration and motivation, I'm (we're) bringing this project back to life! Once again, all welcome and encouraged to participate. For a refresher or for any new participants, here's the deal:
I'll name a new color at the start of each month, and during that month you are to use your camera as a tool to document. The project is a simple exercise in awareness and observation. You're to look around in your daily life and take shots of the colorful things you see/find. The idea is to document the NATURAL or pre-existing rather than setting up shots just to fulfill the assignment. In other words, dont go out of your way for this. Just pay attention. Other than that, this is pretty free-form. Sometime before the end of the month, post what you found. Have fun with it.
The only real guidelines are: use a camera, limit your final posts to no more than 5 images, and include your name with each post, too, so we know who's seeing all of this colorful stuff.

Shots, as in photos or short video recordings? Also, what will be March's color?

The rumors are true! I'm excited.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think videos would be really great. They could potentially add a whole new layer to the project for the second go round - but I'm in either way.
